Buddy Guy Los Angeles Concert reviews
Experienced Traveler Review on Global
I traveled from Texas to experience the festival because the lineup was pretty great! There were rides and nice areas of grass to relax. The festival did fail to maintain security and logistics to handling the rain. It was pretty neat to try out a lot of new drinks and other things for the price of $1 or even free!! Day 2 it really showed that the festival could not control the crowd, so hundreds of people broke in, despite the rain actually dying down. We all know Day 2 of Buddy Guy got cancelled, but there is more to it. I noticed the first day that security was already very lax, and this only concerned me because I paid a good amount to be at the festival. The experience of the festival itself was pretty well organized. That right there is probably why the 3 star rating will hold along with all the really cool vendors that were at the festival. I think the festival could have continued on if they had prepared measures for handling the weather and keeping control. We all missed out on an amazing lineup day 2, but just thankful we got reimbursed for the day. The potential was there, but the festival could not handle the crowd or rain.
